We have young families ourselves and are aware that many of us who took adventurous holidays in our 20’s and 30’s would like to continue this with our children. Salamander Treks lead family adventures using qualified guides who have intimate knowledge of the Mont Blanc region and an understanding of what parents and kids really want to get out of a holiday.

As a small company we offer a flexible, bespoke service and aim to go at your pace. Our accommodation is perfectly suited to families and you can be sure that you and your children eat good quality, nourishing meals served at regular times. Our minibuses are at your disposal until 10pm, so if you fancy a restaurant meal or a night out without the kids we can arrange a baby sitter.

Mont Blanc Family Explorer is a gentle week with fun activities for both children and parents. It is suitable for children from 5 years.

Mont Blanc Multi Activity is designed for teenage families (12+) with more adventurous activities and longer days. There is a 2-day trek with an overnight stay in a mountain refuge and opportunities for parents and children to do activities together or separately. As teenagers often have younger brothers and sisters there can be flexibility on the age limit.
