Our Staff


Phil Mansbridge  
Based in Chamonix with his young family, Phil is a qualified International Mountain Leader. He has led over 50 treks in 15 years to countries including Nepal, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Morocco and Slovakia. He is passionate about Alpine flowers and is a keen mountaineer with regular climbs in the Alps and has been on Himalayan expeditions to 6, 7 and 8000m peaks. Other adventures include sailing across the Atlantic and cave exploration in Borneo.
   
Richard Barker  
After leaving the Army, Richard couldn’t keep away from the outdoor life and so moved to the Alps. In Chamonix, he and his family run a luxury chalet business whilst still trying to find time to ski, mountaineer and mountain bike. Other adventures include kayaking the source of the Nile, sailing the Pacific Ocean and building a school in Ghana. Richard is a trainee International Mountain Leader and expects to qualify next year.
   
Veronica Barker  
A chartered physiotherapist and experienced chef, Veronica was leading a trekking expedition in Ghana when she met Richard. As a keen ski tourer, Chamonix was the perfect place to make a home. In between looking after two children, she can be found trekking and searching for the best off-piste routes in the Alps.
   
Phil Jarrett  
Phil left a corporate career in sales and marketing to pursue his passion for outdoor adventure. A qualified International Mountain Leader, he has led treks in destinations stretching from the Highlands of Scotland to deepest Patagonia, including a number of youth development expeditions with groups from British schools. On his days off, Phil has climbed peaks in Ecuador, Nepal, Tibet and Sumatra, cycled the length of Vietnam, and spent numerous days skiing, climbing and trekking in the Alps.
